Screw compressor is a modern rotary air compressor.
The compression process results from the decrease of the space between the rotating screws - from suction openings - inlet to the discharge openings.
The screw compressor is not equipped with valves And there are no mechanical forces causing the state of imbalance. This means that it can work at high rotational speeds of the shaft and combine a high flow rate with small external dimensions.

Moisture condensate or steam is one of the components of atmospheric air that can be found in our distribution and utility systems of compressed air.
As long as the condensate can be easily separated and disposed of, the moisture in the form of steam goes down with the compressed air stream to the end product. By further cooling, this part of the moisture present in the compressed air condenses, causing severe damage to the distribution network, a machine driven by such air, and damage to the end product over time.
A compressor with a flow rate of 10 Nm³ / min absorbing ambient air at 20 ° C and 70% relative humidity, operating at a pressure of 8 bar, cooling to 30 ° C, separates 5.1 l / h condensate. If the compressed air is further processed by using a dryer with a dew point of + 3 ° C, a further 1.7 l / h of condensate can be extracted.
Advantages of using dehumidifiers:
- The lower cost of the distribution system can be obtained without the use of drops, separators or condensate drains, but simply by using the valve mounted on the tee directly from the distribution circuit.
